Jenna & Matt's first date was on the Cross-Bay Ferry from St.Petersburg to Tampa...and they MISSED their ride back to Tampa! This is something that would have normally caused Jenna to get anxiety and be worried about how to get back home, but Matt's cool demeanor and go-with-it attitude led to an unforgettable first date! This couple is FULL of inside jokes, throughout their wedding and in their vows. Even through not understanding what they were talking about, Matt had Jenna (and me!) crying throughout his vows!

If either partner, or both, are commissioned officers, they can have a ceremony exit beneath an archway of sabers held by other military members. Noncommissioned officers and enlisted personnel may instead go with the variation called the Arch of Rifles. Speaking of swords, another popular tradition is to cut the cake with a sword instead of a knife at the reception.
