Wedding Date on Sep 25, 2021

Cal and Nancy met at West Virginia University during their freshman year. They lived in neighboring dorms, and would often run into each other in the cafeteria. Quickly, they struck up a friendship and Cal got the nerve to ask her out. She politely declined and let him know that he wasn't her type. But Cal wasn't deterred so easily. Over the course of a year, Cal and Nancy would continue to share meals and socialize together through mutual friends and parties. Cal continued to ask Nancy out, and finally Nancy agreed. By that point, they'd developed such a close friendship that Cal believes set them up for their success today. Six years after that first date, they exchanged vows in front of their closest family and friends in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. And WHAT. A. WEDDING! Seriously, this couple and their guests were absolutely wild. A few weeks before their wedding, we were invited to film the bridal party’s Beer Olympics, and they brought that same energy into the wedding day. We filmed beer shotgun competitions, birthday shots, burnt s’mores, and an epic fireworks display. And did we mention the killer backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains? This was like the summer send-off party of the year, and we knew we needed to make an epic film to reflect that.
