Wedding Date on Jan 20, 2018

From our questtionaire we send our couples: Question: Your story Bonnie: How long have we been together? Well, that depends on which one of us you ask. :P We went on our first date in September of 2014, and I knew by our second date that I really wanted to see him again! Love to do together? TRAVEL. We love to explore and adventure. We're goofy and weird, but I'm sure every couple is. We have a dog that we treat like our child, so we love to play and cuddle her. We like to be outside, go on walks. Watch movies and listen to our favorite comedian (John Mulaney). We met on Tinder and I had a weird set of "rules" - Like, if I talked to a guy for a week, but we never went on a date, I would delete him from the list. Somehow, Ben slipped through several of my rules, and here we are :) I also was supposed to leave the country to begin work for a university in the Netherlands the month that we went on our first date. My visa got denied (twice), and I was sad to not return to a place I love.. but I see what God's bigger plan was now and that makes me want to pee my pants with excitement. Ben: We both traveled a lot and frequently on opposite schedules. If we hadn't matched on Tinder I don't know that it would have been possible to meet her. She's also the only person I went out with from tinder. From my perspective it's like the whole app existed to set us up. I remember like 4 dates in, I had left my ipad on a plane and because she had to go to the airport for work she figured out the whole lost and found system at DFW (which is a nightmare because it's behind security) and figured out how to get it back to me. Some real sacrifical love there very early on. Love to do - Travel is big, travel cheaply is bigger. When we travelled so much for work we learned how to play the reward systems pretty effectively and it's been fun to share this weird hobby from the start of our relationship. TV shows with fancy beers and our dog is pretty great too. Trips to the lake where there's no internet and lots of sun in the summer or blankets in the winter would also rank in the top tier. To keep us busy, we're frequently on the hunt for the best cheese fries. Wedding Plans: We tried to make each part of our wedding a true representation of us. I sometimes get overwhelmed/slight anxiety, so I initially really wanted to elope. Ben saw the value in a "big" wedding, and I understood, so we decided to go this direction. But part of that deal was to make it really about us and not just a bunch of Pinterest ideas pulled together. I wanted to get married in the mountains or the woods (neither of which really exist in Texas), so we have tried our best to bring the outdoors in. We have written each of our guests personal notes that will be waiting for them at their seat in the reception. We wanted an opportunity to tell each person there thank you for contributing to our lives and how much we appreciate them - something that we often just assume the other knows without ever saying it. We will be sharing both our personal vows and traditional vows. Cliche, but I (Bonnie) most look forward to all of it. I look forward to seeing Ben at the end of the aisle and feeling like I'm home. I (Ben) look forward to time with eachother. This 'season' has been so many chores, obligations, plans, events, and activities where we're either focused on our wedding or the marriage ahead of us - I can't wait for that looming day to be here where I won't want each minute to end. From Tennison Weddings: This is actually a sneak peek which is a great file for social media. We were able to try some incredibly different creative things in this wedding. We are very happy excited with how their final film is going to turn out. Bonnie found us on instagram a year before her wedding and booked us as soon as she could. They have been such a wonderful couple to start our 2018 year out with.
