Wedding Date on Sep 22, 2023

Austin and Val are literal school sweethearts. They've known each other for ages and are absolutely each other's best friend. When they first reached out to me I told them I wasn't available - their date was to be 9.23.23. Austin was particularly bummed, but they were still early in the planning process and they decided to MOVE their date so I could be there - I've never felt quite so honored and also felt the pressure to deliver. We did a story session together and they pushed me more than I think any couple has - they wanted to jump into the ocean, which we did. They wanted to get down in the pampas grass, which we did. They were sooo about the process, but at the end of the day I feel the strength of the film isn't just the visuals (though there are some gorgeous ones I think), but ultimately its the power of their relationship and love for each other. Oh, and Austin is a speech and debate guy so his speech is particularly eloquent!
