Wedding Date on Jan 29, 2022

Arianna & Ethan met by chance at a snow trip in Big Bear. Ethan was driving his brand-new Subaru up through the snow and traffic and arrived too late to really hang out with the group. Arianna was just learning how to snowboard (and falling all over herself). They both were too shy and nervous to introduce themselves, not even grabbing each other's names. But as Ethan was driving home that night, he wondered "will I ever see this person again?" His question was answered some time later when the group gathered again at their friend Jake's house. Arianna invited Ethan to play a game of MASH with her, and her bubbliness, friendliness, and confidence (plus her adorable looks) made a big impression with him. By the end of the night, he had a full star-struck crush on her and was excited to learn more about this lovely woman. Obstacles soon came up. Arianna was kept insanely busy with nursing school, which made hanging out as friends a challenge. Then Ethan experienced some traumatic family losses, including the death of his brother, and he decided to move to Washington State to rebuild himself. Yet rather than allow these hardships to break them down, they instead used them to strengthen themselves and grow as individuals. By the time that Ethan returned to California, both had become more mature, spiritual people ready to build a relationship together. Their love kept growing through studying the Bible together, spending time with family, hiking through the woods, and enjoying casual board games. Finally Ethan popped the question with a surprise hot-air balloon ride at sunrise, and the rest is history. We feel privileged to be a part of this amazing couple and their journey that culminated in an incredible wedding day at Venue 808 in San Diego.
