Wedding Date on May 14, 2022

"The films that I create radiate the people I get to serve, and I'm convinced that that is the secret ingredient to it all" I wrote this in an email to Anna + Sam after sending them this film and feel like it accurately portrays where my heart has been in my work as of late Leaning more into the heart of it all. The immense overwhelm of holding onto a moment- a sweet, lingering hug (you know which ones I'm talking about), when you look over and hold your loved one's hand when it gets tough (one of my favorite, hard to find moments from this film between A's grandparents), a gentle moment of comfort to wipe away the tears, nature moving around (and with) you (oooof this one). Anna's mom passed away and was honored at their wedding. Through photos, and words shared about her, her presence was felt by all. Anna described her love with Sam to me as "a quiet constant"-- something that inspired me throughout this whole edit. The music is soft and remains consistent with no extremely jarring builds or effects, the moments are subtle and quiet in their own way, but so full of soul and love.
