Alyssa and Zachary met on no other than the famous dating app Bumble! They have now celebrated three years together. Zachary took Alyssa to the beautiful Biltmore Estate and hired a photographer. In Alyssa's words "My family was all in on it and they helped plan! We did the photo shoot for about an hour and a half after the proposal all around the property! Then ate dinner on the property and then went to the Christmas house tour. When we got back to the hotel room at the Biltmore they had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. It was the best day of my life. Oh also, apparently I was so excited I forgot to say "yes" when he asked haha I just put my hand out for the ring and started crying!"
Their wedding day was unforgettable! Alyssa described her aesthetic as 'old Hollywood glam, romantic and timeless but also fun with a bouncy house!' They started the weekend off celebrating the night before at The Restoration Hotel in downtown Charleston with family and friends. They continued the celebration on September 15, 2023 to say 'I do' at the famous yellow house on King Street, The William Aiken House. Alyssa didn't disappoint with the glam as she wore a long, white, feather-sleeved robe and gloves for her getting ready look, and changed into a Rita Vinieris wedding gown paired with Maison Valentino jewelry and Jimmy Choo shoes. Their wedding proceeded to get more and more beautiful every minute, with the sweetest first look, a gorgeous ceremony in front of the venue's carriage house, and beautiful portraits in the middle of King Street. Not forgetting to mention the sign that the bride and groom chose to have displayed for all of Charleston to see on the American Theatre that read " Forever and Ever, Amen," a node to their first dance song and a phrase they always say to each other. The night continued on with a fun champagne tower, an iconic dress change, a vintage white cake with red cherries to bring in the old Hollywood glam, and guests dancing the night away.
