Wedding Date on Jun 24, 2017

My husband and I first met when we were 12. My brother older brother/best friend introduced the two of us while we were out shopping. He was this goofy blonde boy with the cutest gap in his front teeth and I’m fairly certain he was the most awkward kid you’ll ever meet. Shy and bashful but WOW I was in looooove. Fast forward to ending up at the same high school. Freshmen year came around and I was 100% certain that I was gonna marry this boy someday. He wasn’t really on the same page yet (he definitely walked into my first period class with a cookie cake that said “homecoming?” and laid it on the desk of the girl sitting next to me. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Biggest letdown ever 😂 BUT the following year we struck up a friendship and it wasn’t long before he was asking ME to homecoming. We dated throughout high school- 6 years before finally getting engaged! In 2016 he and his mama planned the sweetest Sonoma CA proposal and I said the easiest yes of my life. We got married the summer of 2017 at his childhood home in Piedmont CA with 300 of our favorite people around us. I know a lot of people say this but WOW it was the best day. The warm weather, the sound of laughter, our first married kiss!!! I’m smiling just writing this and I cry the happiest tears every time we go back and watch our wedding film. Now here we are almost two years later with our first little baby and the sweetest life that just keeps getting better and better.
