Wedding Date on Aug 4, 2018

Zach met Tanya while they were both studying at the University of Illinois (Tanya was a junior and Zach was a senior). They were introduced to each other at a small party hosted by one of Tanya's sorority sisters, who was also the girlfriend of Zach's best man at the time. Tanya's sorority sister had just returned from studying abroad in Spain and was practicing her Spanish with Tanya and talking about Zach. Little did they know that Zach was listening and had studied Spanish from middle school through freshman year of college! He took the opportunity to jump in, saying "I know you guys are talking about me" and introduced himself. The two hit it off, and after seeing each other around campus and at other social gatherings, Zach asked Tanya out on their first date. The rest was history!
