We’re dedicating this film to the Green Flip Flop that went missing during the festivities and was later found inside Alex’s wedding dress. I think that accurately displays how much energy and fun was packed into this epic wedding weekend. 

Zac & Alex wanted to do something special for their friends & family so they invited them all to spend a long weekend away at camp. No cell service, no wifi, just a ton of outdoor fun!

 Activities included camp fires, games, hikes, river swims, acro-classes, and of course a beautiful wedding ceremony. I think the hardest part of editing this one was figuring out how to fit hundreds of amazing moments into just one video! We will be forever grateful that Z+A trusted us to document this unforgettable three-day party.

So - what would be interesting to know about me? Mmhhh... let’s see.I am a physician by training (in my native Germany), and I also have a background in Art History and Design. When my own kids asked me to be their wedding planner, I was hooked! I had, in fact, found my new vocation, and that was the starting point for A Day Like No Other – Wedding Coordination and Design.Several years and many weddings later, I am still as thrilled and as enthusiastic about wedding planning as ever – just ask my brides and the colleagues with whom I am collaborating for my events. And what am I doing when I am not planning and designing a wedding or a big professional event? I love to cook (and I am told I am doing it really well) and even more to bake (same here) – everything fresh and from scratch. I love classical music and I love spending time with my family (the most important thing in my life!) and I love walking and playing with our dog Buzz. He is meanwhile the Senior in the family and “the boss.” And he was - you guessed it – the inspiration for my business specialty: dog-friendly weddings. Sometimes he even tags along when I meet my clients!

We don’t try to emulate Disney per se; however, we most certainly take inspiration from the way Disney’s ability to capitalize on Nostalgia. We’re suckers for Nostalgia. That’s also what drives us…the desire to make the viewer feel something magical.We’re looking for couples who aren’t afraid to be themselves. Who aren’t afraid to tell more than just a story about how they exchanged vows one day. We want to create an heirloom that lasts long after you’ve driven off in the “just married” mobile.
