Wedding Date on Oct 16, 2022

The universe has a funny way of bringing people back together. Their story began back in 2016 when they started texting each other after matching online. Ken cut right to the chase and asked Vivian out to drinks since he figured it would be easier to meet up than be pen pals. She had just attended her sister’s wedding the day before and was too lazy to head out. However, Regine and her group of married friends wanted to live vicariously through Vivian so they managed to convince her to go. While grabbing drinks at East Village, they started to get to know one another and shared how they both attended colleges in upstate NY. They eventually found out that they crossed paths at a particular Halloween party at the same place at the same time and shared some mutual friends. One thing led to another and they hit it off like no time had even passed. Fast forward to 2021, after 10 countries traveled, 3 apartment moves, the pandemic, a fur baby, and many failed proposal attempts, Ken decided to pop the question on a warm sunny summer day on the balcony of their LIC apartment. The rest is history.
