Wedding Date on May 7, 2021

It was February of 2018 and Torrey was just about to delete her Bumble account. Before she had the chance, she swiped on a handsome guy who looked like a lot of fun - and he had swiped on her too. It was a match! Torrey and Benjamin ended up texting for a couple weeks, but ultimately, they never decided to meet and eventually lost contact. They both went on with their lives not thinking twice about the other person until... It's now August of 2018 and Torrey hadn't had an online dating account for the last six months. A random Snapchat message came in one day from a "Ben Lee" (side note - Torrey thought Benjamin's last name was Lee for a very, very long time lol). B - "Hey, do you remember me?" T - (eye roll) "Yep, what's up?" B - "Just wanted to say hi. We never met up before and I wasn't sure why. Do you still have my number?" T - "LOL, nope, I actually never saved it." B - "Oh, that's cold! Well here, take my number. Let's text." T - (eye roll) "Fine..." Now every girl knows when a guy hits her up after 6 months (via Snapchat of all places), that he's just thinking of one thing, and one thing only and Torrey couldn't help but keep this in the back of her mind with Benjamin. They ended up hitting it off (again), but this time, they actually made plans to meet up! On August 23, 2018, Benjamin and Torrey met for drinks at Barney's Beanery in Pasadena to "celebrate his upcoming birthday". The date was going so well that Benjamin decided it was time to impress Torrey with the best Old Fashioned in Pasadena - so they headed over to the Speakeasy, a "very exclusive club that Benjamin has access to" (lol). The Old Fashioned was top 5 for sure, but the conversation was even better. Something about the two of them was just so natural, so easy and it already felt like they had known each other for a long time. But, Torrey was worried that Benjamin was a bit of a party-boy and not looking for anything serious, and she was leaving for Hong Kong in a couple days. Even though the date was fun, she thought she would never see him again. Benjamin admits he thought the same. But somehow, someway, they ended up talking the entire time while she was in Hong Kong and Benjamin had made plans for a second date at Universal Horror Nights (equipped with a front-of-the-line-pass too!). It was on this night that Benjamin started to change Torrey's mind about him, and well.... they've been together ever since :)
