Tom & Christian met the old fashioned way - over old fashions! It was Memorial Day weekend of 2014, and they both had a weekend of fun in the sun with their friends. As the last night of the weekend was winding down, and their friends were beginning to head their separate ways, something in the stars compelled each of them to stay out for a last drink. Tom was deep in conversation, but the moment Christian walked around the corner to say hi to a mutual friend, Tom's attention drifted. Christian introduced himself and they chatted until the wee morning hours and eventually shut down the bar. Actually, they were kicked out, but it didn't stop the conversation! Not long after exchanging numbers, Tom invited Christian to a concert for their first date. And the rest, as they say, is history. Tom proposed to Christian during their annual tradition of Christmas Tree Hunting at a farm outside Columbus. Tom made it extra special with an ornament decorated to pop the question. It was a total surprise to Christian, and he said "YES!" Spencer and Tom's best friend Kateryna were there to help and celebrate, and they had a few friends over to the house afterwards to surprise Christian.
