Wedding Date on May 20, 2023

This was a beautiful day from beginning to end. Luke & Taylor came to Florida for a destination wedding by way of Texas. These two are so adorable. I was lucky to watch their engagement film before their wedding day so I felt like I knew them. They met on bumble and have funny first date story. Luke insisted on picking her as a gentleman thing to do. Taylor was like, I'll meet you there and he insisted. Also, some back story Luke is big into hunting and fishing. So when he opened the door for her he began to walk around the car and she opened his glovebox and saw a Dexter kit (gloves, knives, rope, duct tape etc...) The look in her face thinking she was about to get murdered. He then had to spend the rest of the evening convincing her he was there for honorable reasons and he's a hunter. Anyway back to their wedding day. It was held at the luxurious Ritz Carlton on Amelia Island, Florida. I filmed this one by myself, most weddings I film solo. I got up at sunrise to get some beautiful drone aerial footage for the film. I try to do that in most of my films. As long as it's approved FAA airspace and weather allowing. I partnered with an amazing photographer @woodlandfields , Catherine is her name. Her and I shared the time and both got some amazing footage and stills. The bride was absolutely stunning in her dress that had a super cool large bow on her lower back. She looked stunningly understated in the most elegant way. The groom was wearing @theblacktux but ironically it was a white blazer matchingTaylor and it came across amazing in their film. The wedding ceremony was held on the lawn courtyard off the Ritz and the sun set perfectly on time to have the shade to help us to capture it with perfect exposure. The floral arrangements Taylor chose were so perfect. The officiant was an older gentleman that had a voice that was wise and with a deep southern charm. He was really great, everyone loved him. The reception was in the ballroom in the Ritz Carlton and were set up so nice by Ashley Nix Events. It was like you were transported into a different world. The couple had their initials laminated on the white dance floor which had a chic look to it. Everyone waived their napkins in the air as the couple entered the room and continued to have a great time non stop dancing until the night ended. BTW the food was out of this world. They ended the night with sparklers in the air as they got in a a super old school Bentley and drove off into the moonlight.
