Susan and Ben met in middle school where they met through a mutual friend. When Ben first met Susan, he was immediately attracted and knew that he wanted a relationship. What started off as two young adults attending junior high together became ten long years of trust, patience, and commitment that these two did not shy short of. By junior year of high school, they had already knew that they were meant for one another. They had originally planned to get married on September 19th / 20th of 2020, however the pandemic caused their plans to shift therefore, postponing their wedding exactly one year later in 2021. Knowing that they still wanted to preserve their wedding day, they decided that they wanted to elope at Yosemite National Park. This was our very first elopement here and we were ecstatic to take part in this special day. Just when things couldn't get worse a few weeks before their elopement date, California was struck with wildfires statewide which then delayed the elopement day even more. As avid travelers, they knew that they couldn't let this pass and made every effort to secure an obtainable day at Yosemite in which they successfully locked in on October 5th, 2020.
