A Vietnamese wedding is important to both the couple and their families and has Confucian and Buddhist influences. There are many components to a Vietnamese wedding but two of the main ones are the lễ ăn hỏi, or bethrothal ceremony, to the lễ cưới, or wedding ceremony.
