Wedding Date on Oct 24, 2020

It’s always a pleasure getting to shoot a wedding for friends who attend our local church, and Alissa & Stephen are exactly that! They actually live just a few miles down the road from our home. Their “city boy marrying the farmer’s daughter” wedding took place on the perfect fall day in October at 1900 Red Barn in nearby Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. Alissa chose some of our favorite local vendors to help with her wedding day, and the results were nothing short of perfection! From ceremony light that was to die for to the prettiest golden hour we’ve ever seen, it truly was a magical wedding day! How they met: “We met online when Steve was going to school at Penn State and I was working at a salon in State College.” How he proposed: ‘Steve planned the most perfect proposal at my favorite place – Grange Fair. He had a sign made that said “Want to add Omelchenko?” and had my dad hang it up under my family’s name sign on our tent while we went for a walk. When we came back he proposed in front of both of our families.” What Stephen loves most about Alissa: “She is my best friend. She is always there for me no matter what happens. She is so supportive of me always. She is the sweetest person I have ever met. She is also absolutely gorgeous and the best cook and baker I know.” What Alissa loves most about Stephen: “I love how thoughtful he is. He is always putting so much thought into everything he does for me. Whether it’s a gift, a birthday, or just a regular day, he always makes sure it’s perfect and it has meaning. He is so kind and patient, always makes me laugh and he loves me so well. Not to mention how handsome he is! He is perfect to me.”
