Wedding Date on Aug 7, 2021

Ryan's career moved him from New York to Pittsburgh. He arrived back to the Steel City and made it his own, seemingly making friends in every pocket of this urban town. Shannon saw his Bumble profile that posed the question, "Can you keep up?" While her clever opening line of "Hi." didn't initially impress Ryan, the back and forth banter that ensued intrigued him. As it turned out, the two had a lot in common. Their first date went well enough that they planned a second. This one included Shannon's beloved pup, Luna, whose approval was imperative. Ryan passed the test with flying colors as Luna seemed to love him almost immediately. While they continued to casually date, it wasn't until after a Kenny Chesney concert where they laughed, drank, sang and danced that they knew they had each met someone special and decided to make things official. The following years included many grand adventures attending more concerts, ball games, trips and nights out. The more time they spent together, the more they liked one another. It wasn't long before that 'like' turned into love and they both knew they wanted to be together forever. Ryan surprised Shannon with a proposal atop a breathtaking Aspen mountain while visiting his family in Colorado, and she emphatically said yes. Both Ryan and Shannon's love and energy are electric. They are the epitome of two people who live life to the fullest and care deeply for all those around them. They share a knack for making people feel comfortable and at home in their presence. And my goodness do they know how to have a good time. Their wedding was an urban garden oasis atop the rooftop of the Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh. Ryan and Shannon again had the time of their lives where they laughed, drank, sang and danced - this time with 280 of their favorite people in the world. They combined the most thoughtful touches, with the most epic party, and it was a celebration we will never forget. Congratulations to this exuberant, one of a kind couple.
