Wedding Date on Sep 1, 2019

Shaina and Daniel met at a University of Kansas Hillel event, on her very first weekend of freshman year. He was nice enough to give her and her sister a ride back to the dorms afterwards. They continued to see each other at Jewish events, weekly dinners and gatherings, eventually becoming friends. Just before he graduated and moved away to Iowa, they decided to take their relationship to the next level. After months of long distance dating, Daniel proposed to Shaina at Leawood City Park, where the two had their first date. He took her to a spot along the trail that was next to a beautiful pond. There she found a picnic with fruits, cheeses, wine, and a dozen roses waiting for her. In the pond, a giant inflatable ring floated in the water with a sign that said “Marry Me?”.
