Seneka and Enrico had planned to celebrate with their closest family and friends at a destination wedding in Mexico on April 19th. Instead of on a beach in Cancun, their loved ones dressed up in their homes across the country to watch the couple’s intimate ceremony at Sanctuary Gardens in West Kelowna via Instagram live… with the groom even joking about how he was now an influencer with his hundreds of viewers tuning in. It was the perfect celebration of love! Coronavirus did not stop them from sharing all of the special wedding moments that they had planned with each other. They exchanged rings and vows, had their first kiss, danced in front of a stunning lake backdrop, cut cake, toasted with champagne, and celebrated this exciting next chapter of their lives. In an attempt to include guests from afar, all wedding guests were asked to take photos to add to their wedding album and enjoy one of their custom cocktails during a virtual cocktail hour. Seeing the two of them share this special moment and capturing it in a video to share with family and friends completely warmed my heart. I had so much fun celebrating with Seneka and Enrico (from a distance of at least 2 meters at all times) and I am so thankful to have been included in their very unique celebration of love.
