Couples like Jenny and Casey are the reason that I love what I do. No wedding day is “perfect” – things will get forgotten and the weather might not cooperate. But it’s how you handle those imperfect things that make your wedding day the perfect celebration of love. Jenny and Casey were married in a place near and dear to their hearts – Blind Bay, British Columbia. This place holds a lot of memories for this young couple including their engagement. The day started at their cabins overlooking the lake before heading to Cedar Heights for the ceremony. After the bridal party made their entrance, Jenny and Casey’s grandmothers made their entrance as FLOWER GRANDMAS! It was probably the most special way that I’ve ever seen grandparents included in a wedding ceremony and I hope to see this tradition in future weddings. The wedding ceremony started off with a well-known pastor before the father of the bride took over officiating the ceremony. They were pronounced husband and wife and we made our way to Recline Ridge Winery for the photoshoot with Kayla Dixon Photography. Back at the Cedar Heights Community Center, Jenny and Casey finished off their night surrounded by their closest friends and family laughing, playing games, and dancing like nobody was watching. Jenny and Casey, your wedding day was one of the most fun weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure of being a part of and I know you will have a bright and beautiful future together. Thank you so much for having me be a part of your wedding day! I had so much fun both on the day and putting together this highlight film.
