Wedding Date on Feb 8, 2020

Our story started in twenty-eleven, where some harmless flirting would unknowingly turn into the beginning of forever. Some would say we were college sweethearts, because Wade stole my heart my freshman year and never gave it back. We had so much fun together and fell in love. Those 4 years were full of awards, championships, parties and vacations but also major life decisions, opportunities missed, break ups and loss of loved ones. Through it all, we were always each other's number one fan. Looking back, it's no surprise we left that college town together. Over the years, we have grown so much as individuals, in our careers, in our faith, as a couple and as a family (rescuing a cat and a dog). After moving to a new city together and seven years of dating, Wade proposed and a year and a half later, we got married. Of all our memories, our wedding was by far the sweetest. As we approach our first anniversary, I am so grateful to have my best friend (and now husband) by my side and I couldn't imagine getting through a year like twenty-twenty without him. The story of The Wawners will be a decade long this summer, and we know it's just our first chapter.
