Wedding Date on Mar 14, 2019

"I had my suspicions of a proposal during our European get-a-way, but when it came down to the last night of our trip, I had given up all hope of the possibility. It's such a classic "Mikey move" to wait till the LAST MINUTE and that's exactly what he did. While enjoying the last evening in Paris, sipping wine under la Tour Eiffel, he asked me if I wanted to go for a walk around the park. I really just wanted to enjoy the view before the tower started sparkling but he insisted on this walk, so I agreed. Hand in hand, we walked to a quiet area without anybody around. He let go of my hand and these were his exact words: "Punky, I have a surprise for you." He took a box out of his pocket and got on one knee. His eyes were glistening and I immediately teared up. He then asked me to marry him and I said yes! He put the ring on my finger and I wouldn't let him go after that! It was the most simple proposal in the most extravagant and romantic city in the world." // Sarah
