From the bride: There’s an ordinary saying that I always feel deep down resonates with our story. ‘Love is not something you go out and look for. Love finds you, and when it does, ready or not, it’ll be the best thing to ever happen to you.’ In the midst of engineering school, studying more hours than I could possibly find in a day, I managed to meet the one person who would change my life forever, my future husband. Of course, we didn't know it at the time, we were merely just looking for a lab partner to help us complete the arduous physic assignments. Whether it was his relaxed nature, his unmatchable intelligence, or the fact that he listened to me ramble about the most mundane topics for two hours a day two times a week; but we connected. Fast forward to a year and a half later, we were finally going on our first date! Still college students, we had maybe ten dollars to our name together, so that bought us a ticket into Salt Springs for a day of snorkeling. We eventually moved in together, and entered the next phase of our relationship, what I like to think of as a small little tester phase - we got a dog. The dog was followed by college graduations, three years of dating and a nine-hundred mile move away from our families to Pennsylvania – this is my version of the big tester phase. And in the midst of showcasing my subpar cooking skills combined with my astounding abilities to keep our dog alive, Brandon must have reckoned he found himself a keeper, so he asked me to marry him on March 13, 2017. We were then married a year later on March 16, 2018 surrounded by our family and friends in Jacksonville, Florida.
