Some couples want a highlight reel. These two wanted to hear from their people.
They started with a first look out on the golf course at The Strand in Naples, under the oaks and palms, and it set the tone for the whole day. She wore a clean, sleeveless gown with a long cathedral veil, then added a big, playful puffed topper later on. He wore a classic black tux and bow tie. Her bridesmaids came in mixed shades of pink and florals, and their reactions when they saw her might be some of our favorite footage of the morning.
The ceremony was full of color. Peach, blush, yellow, and soft lavender florals spilled out of hanging baskets above the fountain, and it felt exactly like these two: fun, bright, and joyful.
From the start, the bride loved the idea of us interviewing guests, so we went all in. Their friends and family made it easy. All day long, people kept coming up to us because they wanted to say something about these two on camera. We ended up with more interviews than we could count.
Then the moms sat down with us. Both of them said beautiful things. What the bride's mom shared is one of our favorite moments we've ever filmed, and we won't give it away here. You'll know it when you hear it.
When the couple finally watched their film and heard everyone talking about them, they were over the moon. That's why we do this.
Filmed by Golden Day Films, Southwest Florida.
