Wedding Date on Jun 6, 2026

A Catholic wedding at St. Katharine Drexel in Cape Coral and a riverfront reception at Oxbow Bar & Grill in downtown Fort Myers. This film is the best example of our style we have. A month before the wedding, we sat down with the couple for a story session. We interviewed them together and separately about how they met and how they’ve grown together, so when they watch their film, they’ll hear some of each other’s answers for the first time. On the wedding day, their family told the rest of the story. Her sister’s interview was so heartwarming. Her dad shared a hilarious story about meeting the groom for the first time, then gave them real advice for married life in his toast. Her mom talked about how hard it is to watch her daughter leave home, and how happy she is that it’s with a man like him. Faith was at the center of the day. As Catholics ourselves, we put in the extra time and money to get our cameras exactly where they needed to be for the Mass, capturing the vows, the priest’s homily, and most importantly, the consecration. Then the celebration moved to the Oxbow’s second-floor event space, with dancing inside and the wedding party celebrating on the balcony over the Caloosahatchee River. Golden Day Films is a documentary wedding videography team in Southwest Florida, filming in Naples, Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Estero, and all over Florida. Every film includes guest interviews, and we never cap film length.
