Wedding Date on Jul 27, 2019

For Peyton and Parks it was friendship first. The two met during their college years and even though they went to rival schools--Peyton repping the NC State Wolfpack and Parks a true Carolina Tarheel—they clicked instantly and grew in friendship set to a soundtrack of college classics like Cookout, group hangs and spikeball. By the time they went on their first date they were already invested in a real, meaningful friendship. The first date was one for the books. They each felt affirmed by their faith in God that this friendship was taking an exciting turn. Parks was confident. After he dropped Peyton off from their first date he went home and wrote her a letter—a letter he felt sure he would read her one day as his bride. And that he did. The rest, as they say, is history, and at the same time, a beautiful love story still being written.
