Wedding Date on Jun 6, 2020

14-year-old Abbey wrote a letter to her future husband. Eight years later on June 7, 2020 Ryan got to read it. These two met Abbey's sophomore year of high school and grew as friends with lots of group hangouts on the weekends. Some real bonding started to happen at a YMCA summer camp toward the end of high school. They would get paired up to work an activity station that involved prolonged periods of waiting and the pair would end up sitting side by side and talking for hours and hours. Ryan let the cat out of the bag first about his crush on Abbey. He realized he wanted things to be different with Abbey. Even at such a young age he felt really strongly about her. Abbey is extremely close to her Dad so before Ryan even took her on a date he got to know her Dad over coffee and asked him if it'd be alright to take Abbey out. Thankfully, he said yes :) Abbey says that she's always been an emotional gal and Ryan didn't quite now how to handle her occasional tears (or sobs) when they started dating. But over time, she says her emotional side has rubbed off on Ryan, which was completely evident on their wedding day. We aren't sure who cried more! These two have written a love story together that is incredibly pure and we felt honored to tell that story!
