Wedding Date on Jun 5, 2021

They met on a cruise ship, randomly one night! They both immediately caught eachother's eye and Shane's magnetic personality attracted Nicki like none other. After the cruise ship, they remained friends long distance for years and eventually that friendship turned into love even while still long distance. Late 2019 is when Nicki decided to move to Florida from North Carolina and give it a chance with Shane. Shortly after, they found themselves quarantined and seeing eachother everyday. This was still the best time of their live's as their love blossomed. We (Rachel and Chris) met Nicki and Shane in 2020 when the world was shut down & when Shane contacted Chris for a random Facebook Marketplace sale (how funny!) Our friendship with them blossomed as well and we took tons of boat double dates, and knew Shane had plans to propose that November 2020. All the lifestyle footage sprinkled throughout their film is from both dates that we hung out with them (knowing we'd get to repurpose all that footage for their wedding film one day) and from their engagement which Shane had us incognito film. As friends and their wedding videographers, it was so fun capturing their whole love story both on their wedding day and before they were even engaged just casually living life together with their pups.
