I create films for couple's who wear their heart on their sleeve, live full and know these moments are fleeting, yet full of so much heart, and must be cherished. I mix the tangible beauty with an editorial nature, but keep the chemistry and dialogue at the forefront of my storytelling. About Rachel & Narlee Films: being Asian-female owned, and operating out of one of the biggest melting pots in the world, Narlee Films specializes in high end cinematography using technically trained skills in tv/film scene study to create films with an attention to detail and narrative. Rachel, coming from an Entertainment background, started filming weddings as 'Narlee Films' with her now-husband Chris (Narlee being a fusion of their pre-marriage last names; him, Bednar & her, Lee) back in 2017 after they tried to DIY film their own last-minute elopement. Rachel's father was battling cancer and they chose to have a quickly-planned affair as his health took a turn. They wanted to make sure he was there. Now, Rachel says again and again how much she cherishes her wedding videography, even though it was DIY'd, simply for being able to have footage of her father and the joy of everyone that day no matter what other worries, ailments or stress normally consumed everyone's lives beyond that day. 'I like to let that value I experienced, guide the work I create and the footage I'm always intuitively seeking out. I'm anticipating, then capturing because weddings are a balance of showing off a relationship & connection in an incredible atmosphere and event that not just entertains & impresses... but inspires and leaves AN IMPRESSION.
