Wedding Date on Oct 19, 2019

We're so thankful that Nadya posted in one of our photography groups looking for a photograper/videographer team for her Basilica Hudson wedding. We were hesitant to reply since there is usually at least 100 responses and it goes nowhere. However, we had been dying to capture a wedding there so we went for it. THIS time it did go somewhere... Our first call was so great and we chatted about our love for music including bands like The Cure (one of our favs) and Aphex Twin. We met up with them for their engagement session and had the best time! We even went for drinks and dinner afterwards at one of our fav vegan resturants Modern Love Brooklyn. Nadya & Ryan had such a fun wedding--we even stayed later because we wanted to stay and enjoy it (which they so nicely encouraged). One thing that we love is getting to know our couples and building a relationship with them which allows us to make films and photos that represent them. Throughout the Pandemic, Ryan started djing records every Friday and we haven't missed a session. It's been so awesome spending time listening to fun music and also doing shots live with Ryan on insta! Their film was customized to fit multiple sides to them (fun, romantic, and Nadya's heritage).
