Morgan & Tom's Adventure Elopement Film was one of the most genuine pleasure's I've had. The two opted to have a laid back elopement day over a traditional wedding, and the results were stunning. The two chose Blue Lakes in Breckenridge as the backdrop for their emotional wedding vows, before heading up to a nearby waterfall to enjoy the beautiful mountain views.
Unlike most adventure elopements, they opted to have a laid-back afternoon at their airbnb. This was a time of them enjoying listening to records, eating their wedding cake and enjoying some quality time with one another. We then met up in Rocky Mountain National Park the next day, as they had a laid-back exploration of the South entrance of the National Park & Calypso Cascades.
I honestly can't say enough good things about these two and their elopement day. Oftentimes, couples opt for an adventure elopement in hopes of grand views, but the day doesn't always come across as authentic to who they truly are. Morgan & Tom opted to do what felt right, not caring about outside voices, wedding traditions, or elopement expectations.
In addition, this a silent elopement film - a first for me, but definitely not a last. After thinking it over, they asked me to keep their actual wedding vows private, just keeping the storytelling elements of their words. While many elopement and wedding films also keep the couples vows intertwined via audio, this film brought on a new feeling by only using subtitles and visuals to show their emotional wedding vows in a completely different way - keeping the sacred moment and details of their vows as an euphoric moment that only they will be able to experience.
