During a time that they both felt they were starting over, they found one another, and were able to live that out together, growing an inseparable bond in the process. From their very first date, they expressed their love for adventure, travel, and how Vanessa wanted to move to Colorado to pursue just that. This film is the celebration of their lives together, and their incredible story that they not only dreamed of, but now live.

We're Alix and Connor - two married filmmakers who also happen to also be vanlifers. Planning and filming unique wedding and elopement videos for adventurous couples is our jam! We we travel all over the US in our van affectionately known as "Vanolin" while Documenting Wild Stories along the way. Every one of our elopement videography packages includes elopement planning assistance. The underlying story of every elopement day involves some element of adventure, which doesn't happen without planning. Luckily, we happen to love planning adventures, and we do it on a daily basis while living, traveling, working, and playing in our self-built campervan. At Acts of Adventure, we believe a wedding video is so much more than a recap of the day. It’s a testament to your unique love story. It’s a reminder of the promises you made to each other and a daily encouragement to keep saying “yes” to one another when things get difficult. For these reasons, we value authenticity and raw emotion in our films. Posed, highly produced films aren’t our thing. We want to capture the real, unscripted moments that make your story so special. We want to work with couples that believe marriage is not only more important than the wedding, but also the start of life's greatest adventure. This is why we specialize in adventurous elopement videos and intimate wedding videos. When we’re not filming, you can find us biking, trail running, camping, or snowboarding in the mountains of Colorado. The simple things in life make us the happiest: being outside, drinking strong coffee, eating tacos, and going on long road trips.
