Morgan and Cameron's wedding was supposed to be at Chandler Oaks Barn. When COVID hit in 2020, they decided to change up their venue and totally rethink their wedding with their planner. So Mo and Cam decided that instead of spending the money on a wedding venue, they would go buy a boat. Laura and I are big boaters. Mo's mom had done all the booking and planning and we hadn't met the bride and groom yet. One day we were down at our Marina cleaning up our boat when on the lift comes this beautiful new Regal Boat. (We have a Regal as well) I'll admit I was a little envious of this boat. Well the couple where having a discussion on what side to put the registration letters on. Being the helpful boaters we are, I jumped in and told them where they should go. Fast forward 2 weeks later and we are scheduled to meet the bride and groom at the marina for a float through of their new wedding plans....yes it was going to be on boats...and yes it is the same couple we helped earlier! Jacksonville is the smallest big town you will ever live in!! Needless to say we hit it off right away. Come Wedding day, the weather didn't exactly cooperate. It was cold, windy and not ideal conditions for boat wedding. But all the awesome vendors made it happen. From decorating a boat and dock, to having guests on boats watching the ceremony, the reception out on the sandbar "pineapple point" it was one of the most unique and different weddings we have ever filmed. We were so happy to celebrate with Mo and Cam and I'm still a little jealous of their nice Regal boat!
