From the couple: "Michelle and Jonathan's love story began in Austin, Texas on September 2018 through the dating app, Coffee Meets Bagel. After some cheeky back and forth, numbers were exchanged and a first date was scheduled. It was an eventful date - Michelle's car had broken down 30 minutes before - but Jon picked her up and they spent hours enjoying each other's company at the bar of a local ramen shop. Since then, they had many memorable dates such as photographing the graffiti park, go-karting with friends, having a movie night at Mueller Park, and visiting the Austin Central Library and Waterloo Records. Fast forward to November, Jon officially asked Michelle at Tillery Street Plant Co., a local Austin plant shop, to be his girlfriend! 3 years later, Jonathan proposed to Michelle on a Hawaii trip in April 2021. After a rather difficult hike up a steep incline, they were greeted by a beautiful vantage point of the lush tropical mountains meeting the ocean. Jon got down on one knee and popped the question - and Michelle said yes!" Jonathan and Michelle are two of the sweetest, most sincere people I’ve ever had the pleasure of filming. There was something so gentle and calming about their love for each other, and I couldn't get over the way these two look at each other. Their love was truly tangible throughout the whole day. One of my favorite wedding moments I’ve ever seen was when Jonathan even surprised Michelle with a mini “last date” with a charcuterie board before the ceremony. Their wedding was sweet and personal, filled with emotion, and ended with the most fun and joy on the dance floor. Congrats to the Theos!
