Melissa and Issac met when Melissa came to eat at his restaurant. She asked for his number and when she did he froze in disbelief and the rest is history. They live in Atlanta and Issac knew Melissa had always dreamed of her fantasy wedding and wanted to make this dream come true for his wife. He enlisted the expertise of the amazing Michele Butler with Michele Butler Events to carry out their elegant dream luxury wedding! With the backdrop of the jaw dropping Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Disney World they couldn’t go wrong. The ballroom was transformed into a wonderland with the talented Lana from Fairbanks Florist and lighting by Asher with A-List Dj Entertainment. Everyone gasped as they entered the room! Details designed by Dogwood Blossom Stationary were throughout and all these special touches took it to a whole new level. The day started with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony with Melissa in a stunning red Chinese Longfeng Gua with beautiful gold jewelry. One piece in particular that stood out was the pig necklace with piglets hanging from it to signify children in their future. We love all the wonderful traditions in the Chinese culture! After the tea ceremony we took some pictures and then it was time to change into a more traditional American wedding dress. Melissa didn’t just have one white wedding gown, but two! After the first look we took some more photos around the property and some with family and friends before the ceremony out on the lawn as the sun was setting. With white floral arrangements surrounding them and their closest family and friends they exchanged personal wedding vows and sealed it with a kiss! Next it was time for Melissa to change into her second wedding gown for the reception, and of course some more photos in this new dress! As the sun set into the horizon it was time to get the party started! On their custom white dance floor with their initials by Letz Dance On It, they had their first dance together as husband and wife and toasted among the white draping and elegant gold table. For dessert they didn’t just want wedding cake but included a display of Four Seasons finest desserts for guests to choose from. Guests were surprised with favors of macaroons from Paris by Laduree! They ended the night with a sparkler exit out the back doors of the ballroom and into the night hand in hand!
