Wedding Date on Mar 16, 2019

Jeff and I went to Colorado Springs for a week on a random trip. Our plan was to go to Pikes Peak on our first day but it snowed so heavily that day that the road to the top was closed due to the unsafe roads. We were disappointed but spent the week horse back riding, hiking, getting matching tattoos and eating ridiculous amounts of food. Before we knew it our last day in Colorado was upon us and lucky for us the road to Pikes Peak had finally reopened. We were only allowed to go the first 11,000 feet up because the top 3,000 feet were still not plowed but we were excited nonetheless. We drove up the steep slope as high as we could go and climbed out of the car on the side of the road to take in the views. I was looking over the edge and when I turned back Jeff had dropped to one knee and was asking me to marry him. When we get married our engagement will be right at a year and one month long.
