Wedding Date on Jun 14, 2019

Marc and Shelby went to high school together but reconnected in college. They have been together for over 9 years. Shelby is obsessed with her niece and Marc knows how much she means to her so he wrote a children’s book and had an artist do illustrations of them and their love story. Shelby's family has a farm and her great grandmother's house is on it, her sister and niece now live there. On the property there's a gazebo which is where Shelby's Dad proposed to her mother (which neither Marc nor Shelby knew until after the fact). Marc and Shelby walked over there and Shelby's sister asked her to read her niece the new book she got her. So she hopped on Shelby's lap and handed her the book, it was a picture of Shelby on the front with the title “The Love Story of Princess Zsa Zsa” (Shelby's aunt name). The last page of the book was Marc asking Shelby to marry him. As Shelby was hysterically crying and laughing her niece took the ring out of the box, put it on her own finger and ran away with it! It was a very romantic and hilarious moment. Shelby said after it was over she noticed her Dad was watching the entire time through a window.
