We met in Missouri. Chris is from MO and I am from the Chicago area but we both went to school at Mizzou – although we didn’t meet there. We actually met after we both graduated at an indoor rock climbing gym. This makes us sound really cool but we actually were both the rock climbing newbies in our friend groups. We were doing auto belay. The gym we were at only had a few runs so our two friend groups ended up waiting on each other a lot and we got to talking 🙂 Our first date was at a state park and we haven’t stopped loving the outdoors since!
