Wedding Date on Oct 11, 2021

”When I first met you I knew you were going to fall in love with me!” Everyone laughs when Maika semi-jokingly delivers that line during their wedding vows, but it’s obvious from the get-go that these two were made for each other! Their elegant & emotional, fun & heartfelt wedding is one we will treasure for years. Maika described the in initial part of their relationship like this: "I had been working with Austin’s dad for about 7 months and even hung out with a few of his friends (one of my good friends was dating one of his good friends), but I’d never spent any time with Austin because he was a chef at the time and those guys have no life. Austin’s sister was getting married in a few months and he and a long term gf had just broken up so he needed a date and my friend told him he should take me. We ended up discussing all the details on a dating app because he said he was too nervous to talk to me in person haha. I had him take me on a few dates beforehand so it wasn’t awkward, and in those 3 quick dates I realized he was something else. We officially started dating at the wedding and now here we are, planning our own!"
