Wedding Date on Aug 20, 2022

Maegan & Loren's wedding was an absolute dream. From the day I met them, we just clicked. We talked about their vision and how we could bring that to life. Their story, family and the first look were really important to convey and things they really wanted to look back on. Loren specifically wanted to look back and feel like he could truly relive the emotions he felt on the wedding day. The day was everything we could have hoped for. Sunny with a light haze set the stage for the first look that was out of a fairytale. Having it on a cliff point overlooking Oregon's rugged coastline, it put Pride and Prejudice to shame. Maegan's stunning chiffon wings blowing behind her as she walked to meet her groom was as close to angelic as I could imagine. It gave everyone chills and set the tone for an ethereal, magical day, a day as close to perfection as you could possibly get. From Loren's adorable reaction as Maegan came down the aisle (lip quivers get me every time) to her dad's emotional speech followed by the most epic father daughter dance I have ever witnessed, ending in an epic champagne exit. Fast forward to the next day for our day after session. Before we left to go out and film, we got a few shots at their cabin. We also just talked about Taco Bell, hot/spicy foods, TV shows, fun family moments. When we went out, heavy fog now covered the coast and we were all worried that we may not get the epic sunset that we had dearly hoped for. I kept faith. We drove north where I had seen a brief break in the fog, hoping there would be a place we could go film at. After driving for a while, Maegan and Loren were beginning to doubt and thinking they would have to settle for some fog shots. But I found a sliver of a break in the fog near Cape Sebastian, a place I had never been. We drove up a huge hill and I kept praying for a sunset. When we reached the top, our jaws dropped at the view. It was as if we are staring out over heaven on earth. We were above the fog on a cliff that looked out over the ocean where the fog laid over the top of the water. It reflected the sunset colors as did the clouds that littered the sky above. My prayers were answered. The wedding, this couple and everything about it was as flawless and as perfect of a wedding as I have ever seen. I feel beyond blessed to have been a part of this very special day.
