Like most modern romance stories, ours began online.
We booked a couples photo session at Kraft Azalea Gardens. Sarah had spoken to the photographer ahead of time and let her know she was planning on proposing. The photographer "ended" the session early and hid while we continued to walk around the park before Sarah popped the question. Later on, Sarah surprised Macy with a dinner party with all our closest people.
We had always envisioned a more "traditional" wedding with a bridal party, big ceremony, and reception. After lots of discussion of different factors, we decided to elope and have an intimate ceremony with a handful of our family members. The vision then shifted to something cozy and costal while still being classic. When the big day came, we all kept saying we could not have imagined doing it any other way.
Our wedding was intimate, cozy, and incredibly special. Our favorite moment was getting to share our personal vows with each other. Our color scheme was various shades of blue and white
Our cake was from a local bakery in Orlando. They were able to create the heart shaped cake with the vintage inspired piping that we were looking for!
Macy DIYed her bouquet and charm that included a photo of her and her Father who had passed away. Macy did her own hair & makeup and styled Sarah's hair the morning of.
Your wedding day is about you and your spouse and the love you have for each other, don't be afraid to celebrate it in a unique & different way if you want to! And yes, all the people that tell you the videographer is worth it for your wedding, are correct.
