Wedding Date on Mar 30, 2018

Even as a young child, Lindy always had both a fascination and a yearning for true love. She admired love stories in movies and books and always dreamt about who her soul mate would be, what he would look like. Five years ago, Lindy wrote a letter to her future husband hoping that by putting this out into the universe, he would one day come. Just a few short months later after writing the letter, fate brought her Mike. In March 2017, they decided to take their first journey abroad together to beautiful Iceland. After several days of adventures including hiking on a glacier, chasing the Northern Lights, completing the Golden Circle, befriending Icelanders, and standing under many a waterfall, they embarked upon a two day group tour to the beautiful Snaefellsnes peninsula. After a long bus ride there with many explorations along the way, they landed upon the Langaholt Inn, where we would stay for the evening. Their tour guide encouraged them to take a walk on the beach before sunset, as there are beautiful views of snow capped mountains in that region of the peninsula. As they strolled along the beach, they took a moment to take in the breathtaking views surrounding (and to snap a picture or two, of course). As they were taking it all in, one of their fellow tour mates, Anna, happened upon them. Mike asked for her to take their picture in this most brilliant of spots. It was then and there that Lindy's life changed forever as Mike dropped on one knee.
