Wedding Date on Aug 22, 2020

This wedding was featured in Town and Country. The Proposal: Right around a month before Christmas, Johnathan's boss texted both Lily and Johnathan to say there was an "end of the year work summit" in New York that he was unable to attend and that he really needed them to attend in his and his wife's place. He said they could fly first class and stay at The Carlyle and tried to make it sound fun so Lily would agree to going. Johnathan had all the plans of the "work summit" lined up beautifully. It was "taking place at the St. Regis" on Friday night, December 20th. We arrived to The Carlyle and Johnathan said he was going down to the bar to get a drink before the "work summit". When Lily came down to meet him he said it was time to go and as they were walking through the beautifully decorated lobby at The Carlyle, Johnathan got down on one knee and asked Lily to be his wife! It was the shock of a lifetime but the best weekend ever! The Wedding: Can you picture an English garden wedding on the dreamy California coast? Lily and Johnathan collaborated with incredibly talented creative partners to design and plan this gorgeous, intimate wedding celebration at her parents' home in San Clemente. Mark's Garden, the same florist Britney Spears hired for her wedding in 2022, created the most beautiful backyard setting with pink roses from Grace Rose Farm. All of Lily's accessories were borrowed from Johnathan's grandmother. How sweet! And SO generous!
