Wedding Date on Jan 7, 2017

From The Bride: I've known Miguel for 10 years through family but I never dated him. His good friend, my uncle actually told Miguel to wait until I finished school. I moved away to Los Angeles to complete my degree and returned back to Bakersfield. I saw him working and waved but had no idea it was him. He works with my uncle and asked my uncles permission to have my number to take me on a date. I received a phone call the next date and was actually planning on standing him up, luckily, I didn't. From our first date, I knew something was different. He reminded me so much of my grandfather, whom I lost a few years ago. He was such a gentleman and ended the date early. We ended up dating and going to concerts and falling in love during the summer and on New Years Eve at Disneyland at , he proposed in front of the castle during the firework show. It was a dream come true. Someone in the crowd recorded us and a cast member gave us a "Happily Ever After" pin so we included the fairytale theme in our weddings. He asked for my hand in marriage and my mom (who he shares his birthday with) was so excited! It was magical. We decided to stick with the Disney theme and create a "Beauty and the Beast" themed wedding. All China and place settings/ Disney decor and wishing well  were bought/ handmade and stored for keepsakes. It was a fairytale wedding. My dress is from Alfred Angelo from the Disney Sapphire collection. The day was perfect and we were extremely blessed.
