When they first met, Lauren and Chris realized they were perfect compliments to each other: Chris was the quiet, steady type -- the one who liked a cozy weekend at home. Lauren was the ultimate adventurer who lived for weekend trips, traveling the world when she could, and compiling all those adventures into stories that made her who she is. In fact, in 2019--the year they got married--Lauren and Chris had spent more than 40 weekends on adventures big and small, and their wedding day proved to be the biggest adventure yet. After a gorgeous ceremony at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church the wedding party took a local trolley around the city of Indianapolis for some gorgeous city shots and nostalgic photos in that trolley. On their way to the reception at The Historic St. Joseph Hall, the trolley cut a corner too close and side-swiped a fire truck! Lauren and Chris did not panic. In fact, they decided to embrace their true adventurous spirits as they hopped off the trolley with their closest friends, celebrated with a double-champagne shower, and walked a mile to their reception, dripping with champagne and contagious laughter. Every wedding day has its own hiccups, but this is by far the best mis-adventure we have ever been able to capture, and just love the spirit of Lauren, Chris and their incredibly supportive wedding party!
