Wedding Date on Aug 31, 2019

Patrick (Pat) and Laura met on a tennis court in San Francisco, they had both joined a social tennis league and ended up being on the same team. They played tennis a few times before Pat asked Laura out for drinks, Laura had no idea Pat was interested in her, she just thought he wanted to play tennis and loved finally having someone to get out on the court with Pat proposed while they were on vacation with Laura's family in Hawaii. Laura's parents have a 2 bedroom time share on Kauai and they were able to go with them, Laura's brother also was able to join them. The day of the proposal they went on an amazing snorkel trip along the coast and practically got to swim with dolphins, it was a magical and beautiful experience. Pat was very quiet the whole time and mentioned that he felt a little sick, so Laura thought he was sea sick all day. That evening Laura's mom had her convinced they were taking family photos on our favorite beach, Shipwreck Cove, so they all dressed nicely and went to the beach. There is a really cool cliff that they climbed up to and took some photos. Pat pulled Laura aside under the premise to look for a sea turtle she had seen in the water below the cliff. He said he needed chapstick, put his backpack down to get it and never came back up! She turned around to him down on one knee with a ring box out, she wish she could remember what he said but it was all a blur! He asked her to spend her life with him and she said yes. Her parents were taking pictures and had champagne and Hawaiian wedding leis for them, they then went and had fun cocktails to celebrate. It was a wonderful day!
