Lacey + Ryan crafted a super unique and special day for their Telluride Elopement. They wanted an emotional first look at their mountaintop ceremony site, so they each got ready separately that morning. Lacey booked a room at the historic New Sheridan Hotel in downtown Telluride, while Ryan got ready at the huge Airbnb in Mountain Village that they also booked for their reception with family.
After a touching first look with her father, Lacey Jeeped up the 4-wheel-drive mountain pass to their elopement ceremony site, where Ryan was patiently waiting. All of their butterflies evaporated as Ryan turned around to witness Lacey walking through the tall grass, surrounded by endless beautiful views. Their elopement ceremony was very unique because they brought their priest to deliver an entire Catholic elopement ceremony on a mountaintop! We've filmed many Catholic weddings in extremely beautiful churches, but we think this view over Telluride is the best church of them all.
During their ceremony, they got to gaze on the majestic Mt. Wilson 14er range and over the entire Telluride valley filled with fall colors. After their ceremony filled with touching vows, commitments, and prayers, we stole them away for some epic drone video footage and close-ups in the towering orange aspen trees. They re-joined their families back at Mountain Village to end their elopement day with an intimate wedding reception.
Lacey and Ryan combined so many amazing attributes of a traditional wedding into an elopement experience that perfectly fit their personalities and their dreams. We hope you enjoy their epic and emotional Telluride elopement video filled with Jeeping, fall colors, and love!
