Chris and Kyrsten’s story started in Washington, D.C. in the Fall of 2014. Chris took Kyrsten to one of his favorite downtown establishments, The Big Hunt, for a night of beers and wings. Blown away by her friendliness, wit, and sarcasm, Chris knew he had a keeper. Impressed by his charm and smarts, Kyrsten decided to give it a shot. Three years later and the two are still laughing at and with each other daily. They continue to learn from each other, entertain friends and family, argue about sports, travel, and cherish the love that surrounds them. From D.C. to Schuylkill County, Avalon to Chatham, Chris, Kyrsten and dog Barkley are constantly exploring and growing the life they share. In September, 2017 Chris surprised Kyrsten at home and popped the question. Kyrsten said yes! To this day, Chris cannot believe his luck. Their wedding was particularly special. It was a destination for most guests, and our first time filming on The Jersey Shore. Preparations took place at Kyrsten's family's waterfront homes. There was dancing and a positive atmosphere. Kyrsten's dad is a self-proclaimed "Disney-Nerd or Disnerd." He piped the parks soundtrack through the speaker system that encompassed the properties. For the first look out on a beautiful windswept wooden beach walkway, Kyrsten's mother and father stood on their balcony blasting the theme to the Soarin' ride. The Jerry Goldsmith track really did suit the moment perfectly. Their wedding went perfectly. The weather was ideal. At the reception, the big surprise to everyone was that Kyrsten's dad had arranged for Jodi Benson, the voice of Ariel from the Little Mermaid, to appear and sing. Jodi sang three songs including Part of Your World. Kyrsten was super excited. She had been a big fan of the movie since she was a little girl. Our video of the moment has since gone viral and is approaching 12 million views on Facebook.
