Sarah and Richard got ready for their big day at her mom’s beach house and it was so beautiful, with a view of the ocean to boot! It also had an elevator which was super exciting for me and my heavy gear(my knee’s thank you!)
From the minute I walked in the door there was a palpable sense of happiness! Lots of laughter and smiles, not to mention all the beautiful natural light (which is super exciting to me!) You really get a sense from these two how important family is to them, and there was a deep love shared by everyone in attendance!
We traveled to a few different spots for their photo session but my favorite part was during sunset, right behind the Icona with all the warm glowy light! You can never go wrong with a sunset session!
While I was editing this film I tried to honor Sarah’s father’s memory with the placement of footage and the words I chose in particular places, I hope that comes through. After meeting Richard myself I agree that her father would have loved him and been so proud of Sarah.
To the happy couple, I am so happy for the both of you and I enjoyed every minute of the day I spent with you. You are both two amazing humans and I am so honored you chose me to capture your day! Cheers to happily ever after! Love your friends (and by friends I mean meeee!!!!!) at Alyssa Kaufman Films!
